Who is Dane Vexlan?

Dane Vexlan is the pen name of the author of Before the Reset, and the name of its narrator.

In the book, Dane is an engineer who helped build Project Chronos, a fictional predictive engine designed to map the next five years of the economy. He walks out with the map and hands it to the reader. That story is fiction.

Why write it that way? Because most people already know AI is changing work, and almost nobody acts on it. Charts don't move people. Stories do. The first half of the book is meant to make the shift feel real. The second half, the 90-Day Protocol, is the practical plan: pick a skill that fits you, learn it properly, use AI as leverage, and put real work in front of real people, all without quitting your job.

The author writes under a pen name to keep the focus on the ideas.
