1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use danevexlan.com (the “Site”) or buy any product from it. “Dane Vexlan”, “I”, “me” and “we” refer to the author and operator of the Site. By using the Site or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

2. The products

The Site sells digital products only:

  • Before the Reset ebook (PDF and EPUB)
  • The audiobook edition
  • The 90-Day Protocol workbook and tracker spreadsheet
  • Bundles of the above

The audiobook is AI-narrated, as stated on the product page.

Nothing physical is shipped.

3. Fiction and educational content

Before the Reset combines a fictional story with practical guidance.

The story is fiction. “Project Chronos”, the characters and the events of the story are invented. Any resemblance to real organizations, systems or people is coincidental.

The guidance is general and educational. It isn’t professional financial, legal, career or investment advice. Results depend on your own effort, skills and circumstances. I make no guarantees of income, employment or any specific outcome. You’re responsible for the decisions you make based on the material.

4. Orders and payment

Our order process is run by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, customer service inquiries about billing, and refunds. When you buy, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy’s terms of service and privacy policy.

Prices are listed in US dollars. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax are calculated at checkout based on your location and may be added to the listed price.

5. Delivery

After your payment is confirmed, you’ll get download links on the confirmation page and by email. If you don’t receive them within a few hours, check your spam folder, then email dane@danevexlan.com.

Please download and back up your files. I’ll resend them on request, but I can’t guarantee that download links will work forever.

6. Refunds

Refunds are covered by the 14-day guarantee described in the Refund Policy.

7. Your license

When you buy, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for your own use, on any of your own devices.

You may not:

  • share, resell, upload, distribute or give away the files, or any substantial part of them
  • post the content publicly or put it behind a paywall
  • remove copyright notices or claim the work as your own
  • use the content to train AI models or build datasets

You may quote short passages for review, commentary or discussion, as long as you credit Before the Reset by Dane Vexlan.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site and in the products is owned by Dane Vexlan and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This includes the text, story, workbook, tracker, audio, design, images and branding. Buying a product doesn’t transfer ownership of any of it.

9. Acceptable use of the Site

Don’t use the Site in a way that is unlawful, harms the Site or interferes with other people using it. This includes attempts to access it without authorization, scraping or distributing malicious code.

10. Email

If you sign up for the free chapter or make a purchase, I may send you emails related to the book. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Order and delivery emails are sent regardless, because they’re part of your purchase.

11. Disclaimer

The Site and products are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, I make no warranties, express or implied, beyond those stated in these terms. This includes warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim relating to the Site or products is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income, lost opportunities or lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t legally be limited, or the rights you have as a consumer under your local law.

13. Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on the Site when you purchase applies to that purchase.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This doesn’t take away any protections you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
